Solomon is retired and available for adoption to an approved family!

Yahweh's "Solomon" Von Weiss has just turned 8 (although looks and acts much younger), and is in robust health.  He was our main breeding sire for 6 years and still has 2 years of accepted Sireship through AKC that is available.  He is solid black, OFA Excellent, Elbows cleared, Cardiac Clear, DM Clear/nonCarrier and screened through Paw Print Genetics) for 8-10 of the most prevalent GSD genetic fault conditions and cleared on them all.  He has been fed primarily a raw, species appropriate whole foods diet.  He is big at about 95-100 pounds, solid black plush coat.  As a breeding Sire, he does not do well around other dogs and neutering him at 8 would unlikely change that.  He is a good protector yet when inside will roll on to his back for a nice belly scratch once he gets to know someone.  The home that would be a great match for Solomon is an adult couple (maybe empty nesters) looking for a good protective companion, but not an out and about walker or dog park visitor. Someone who is used to handling a large dog.  His obedience is good with sit, stay and down. He is a good alert dog and protective of his yard.  Without other dogs around, his leash manners are good.  He has had a greatly loved, happy and healthy life. Ideally he would do well in a lower altitude as he ages. He likely has several years left of strong and vibrant health. Blessing (below) was the only Dam we bred him to and she is now retired.  Placement fee is negotiable if he will be used as a Sire OR Neutered as a Family Companion.  Solomon is the Son of Nolan Vom Alten Wingershaus, a heavily titled European Import that our friend, Dr. Buttar brought to the US several years ago for $50K.
